Infrastructure Renewal Services (IRS) is a market leader in providing a broad range of proven and innovative technologies for the installation and rehabilitation of pipelines and associated structures. Across the Water, Sewer and Stormwater industry of Australia, IRS has built our reputation as a contractor of choice by successfully delivering high risk, complex projects all while providing a professional approach.
IRS was founded by Jim Harrold (Director) in July 2011 with a vision to provide both our commercial and domestic clients with service offerings for both proven and innovative trenchless methodology techniques.
Since our inception, IRS has been a contractor of choice to water authorities, local government agencies and many private contractors within the water industry, successfully delivering some of the most intricate water, wastewater and stormwater projects to our customer’s satisfaction.
With over 80 years of combined management experience, IRS offers a team of Subject Matter Experts and associated resources with the capability to deliver specialist pipeline construction and rehabilitation solutions across the east coast of Australia.

Jim Harrold
Director
Founding IRS in 2011, Jim has over 30 years’ experience across the Water Industry of Australia. Jim’s extensive experience and expertise within the industry has made IRS widely recognised as an industry leader for Pipe bursting and Slip lining projects. Across various roles within the industry, Jim continues to provide his subject matter expertise to our crews and clients daily. From 2011 to the present day, IRS’s mission remains unchanged – to offer innovative trenchless technologies for pipeline construction and rehabilitation to all IRS clients.
Brendan Dive
Director
Becoming a Director of IRS in 2018, Brendan is a Water Industry operations professional with over 25 years’ experience is managing and delivering some of Australia’s most complex water infrastructure projects. As the Operations Manager, Brendan is responsible for management and delivery of all IRS projects all while ensuring that all projects meet the high expectation of IRS standards. Through Brendan’s experience and knowledge of the industry, all strategic business plans and strategies are executed by Brendan and his team.
